ORLANDO, FL- (June 12, 2007) Holy heat wave! After cruising the streets of Gotham with no top, the well-known comic herocar needs help to save America's missing children. Unfortunately when Alfred put in his P.O. for the 1960's Batmobile they didn't get the Air Conditioning option (and where is the Batcup holder?). So when the caped crusaders' best friend Nate Truman, owner of a 1960's Batmobile replica took on a coast-to-coast mission to help recover America's missing children, keeping cool became a problem.
So what's standing between Nate and the recovery effort? The sun; with powers that can melt any mortal, Nate needs a do-gooder to donate and outfit his Batmobile with an air conditioning unit so together they can put a freeze on the bad guys and be at the starting line.
Nate "Batman" Truman, a producer with Entertainment Tonight, entered his Batmobile in the first annual Insurance Office America Fireball Run. "We're driving coast to coast with a mission; find America's missing children" said Truman who has a secret bat-dentity crisis.
Will someone help our hero? Can the hell-acious heat of the sun be overcome? Can we please get a flippn' cup holder in this crazy thing? Only time will tell, then both Nate and the Batmobile remain caveridden but ready to and willing to join in the search.
Starting September 27th 2007 in Orlando, Florida and ending October 6th in Los Angeles, California. The Insurance Office of America Fireball Run Transcontinental Rally is an annual coast-to-coast event. 100 invited teams trek nearly 3,500 miles in nine days across America. The invitational has attracted people from around the world to play in the adventure game. Fireballers are also on a mission; the "Race to Recover America's Missing Children", an awareness campaign for The Child Rescue Network, will be the longest physical recovery effort for abducted children in history.
